DWDM/CWDM Platform

Sintai Communication's DWDM/CWDM platform offers 1U, 2U, 5U carrying chassis and 1.25G~400G transponders/muxponders for transmitting any access service from 100Mbit/s~100Gbit/s with unified network management, pay-as-you-grow architecture and flexible configuration to save your valuable time, space and cost.

Our OTNS8600 I/II/V series equipment is widely used in the fields of telecom operation, ISP, electric power, IDC, education, transport, radio and television, network security, big data, and cloud services.

Types of DWDM/CWDM Platform

Advantages of DWDM/CWDM Platform

  • 01
    Unified network control platform

Provide unified NMS network control for the whole series products with perfect network and equipment performance monitoring capability.

  • 02
Flexible and comprehensive service access capability

Supports 100M-400G any service access: CPRI1~10, eCPRI, FE/GE/10GE/25GE/40GE/100GE, FC 1G~32G, STM-N, OTU1/2/3/4, etc., the transparent transmission reduces the cross-transmission delay of the circuit.

  • 03
    Excellent frame structure design

1U, 2U and 5U structures are compatible with all of OTU muxponders & transponders from 1.25G~400G, optical amplifier system, optical protection system, dispersion compensation, passive WDM & components.

CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexer):

CWDM has max.18 different wavelength channels and each separated by 20 nm, suitable for short distance transmission.

DWDM(Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexer):

DWDM has max.160 different wavelength channels and each separated by 1.6/0.8/0.4 nm(200GHz/100GHz/50GHz), suitable for long distance transmission.

Transponder:

Transponders are used to enable optical wavelength conversion when the client rate matches the optical wavelength.

Muxponder:

Muxponders are used to multiplex sub-rate clients onto the line interface when the client rate does not match the optical wavelength.
